Dr. A. Subair Khan

Dr. Subair Khan is a renowned and experienced orthopaedic surgeon based in Chennai. He is the President of the Tamil Nadu Arthroscopy Society and a founder member of the Shoulder Society of India, known for his expertise in minimally invasive surgery and trauma management.

Dr. Subair Khan completed his Fellowship in Arthroscopy at the Indian Arthroscopy Academy, SRMC & RI, Chennai, followed by a fellowship in Arthroscopy at Amphia Medical Centre, Breda, Netherlands, in 2004 and 2005.

In 2007, Dr. Subair Khan pursued an Observership in Adult Joint Reconstruction at the Amrita Institute in Cochin. He further honed his skills with a Fellowship in shoulder surgery at the Sancheti Institute of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation in Pune in 2008. Dr. Subair Khan also underwent international training for knee and shoulder Arthroscopy at the Samsung Medical Centre, Konkun University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2009.

In 2010, he received advanced training in Shoulder Arthroscopy and shoulder Arthroplasty in Toulouse, France. Dr. Subair Khan’s dedication to expanding his expertise led him to undertake an Observership in Hip Arthroscopy surgery at Praxis Klinik 2000 Freiburg, Germany, in 2012.

He is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through advanced surgical techniques and continuous professional development, having performed over 3000 arthroscopic surgeries.
